Founding Sales Lead

Who you are:
You will be the founding sales hire at DeepGreenLabs. This is a high-ownership, zero-to-one role where you’ll build the sales engine from scratch — prospecting, closing, and shaping the GTM playbook.
We’re looking for someone who’s strategic enough to define the ICP, sharp enough to pitch technical value clearly, and gritty enough to hunt, hustle, and close deals.
Your responsibilities:
- Own the full 360° sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, objection-handling, and closing
- Define and evolve ICPs and value propositions across verticals
- Design and execute outbound campaigns and lead-gen strategies
- Deliver high-impact demos of Ziggy, Juno, and DeepGreen tailored to client pain points
- Handle pricing, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding
- Build and maintain a sales CRM and pipeline hygiene from day one
- Report weekly metrics and learnings; feed back into product and GTM
You have:
- 3–7 years of B2B SaaS or infrastructure/automation/AI sales experience
- A track record of owning the full sales cycle and consistently closing new business
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — especially with technical audiences
- An operator mindset: organized, proactive, and always thinking about the system
- Comfort with ambiguity and excitement about building from the ground up
- (For cofounder track) A founder-like approach: hungry, high-agency, long-term aligned
Compensation:
Option 1: Salaried Hire
- Salary: £60k–£90k base + commission (OTE up to £130k–£150k)
- Equity: TBD
Option 2: Cofounder Track
- Modest salary (e.g. £20k–£40k)
- Equity: Higher (standard 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff)
- Title: Cofounder, Head of Sales or Chief Commercial Officer
